WTF Japan - The return of our weirdest friend so far

I don't get how some commercials can be successful. Especially ones featuring a creepy anthropomorphic dog. After releasing the first one, the people at Calbee said: "Let's make another!" It's actually a surprising amount better than the last one. Let's take it Giga Puddi style and go through it in pictures.

Check him out, just lounging. Not a care in the world. He's internet famous, gets all the bitches (assuming he's male) He's watching a baseball game of his little friend, when the boy suddenly misses a ball. Being the good friend that he is, he returns the ball.

Look at him, all supportive. You'd almost forget how creepy he is. The kid doesn't want anything to do with it though, so he throws the ball away. BUT THEN. PLOT TWIST. The ball is collected by a new player!

You can see the look of disgust on the original dogs' face. When the kid throws the ball again, he knows. There can be only one. He is willing to fight that damn Shiba Inu to the death. 

And when I say 'That Shiba Inu', I obviously mean a fake version of that Shiba Inu OBVIOUSLY ATTACHED TO A STICK. Come one people, try a little harder. 

In the end, all is well though. The dog, even though he's bruised, fought off his competition. He offered the little boy a crisp and they're friends again!
